America’s Final Space Shuttle Launch

NASA is organizing an Amateur Radio Special Event operation to commemorate the final launch of America’s Space Shuttle. This information was distributed to all the NASA Center radio clubs back in January 2010 – but I was slow, and only now got it posted on our web site. This presents us with not only an opportunity to re-activate our club station, but an invitation to participate in this large scale NASA commemorative event. This information was also shared with the ARRL, and we expect considerable media coverage.
As this was distributed as an invitation, I’ll re-post it here as requested.
